I don’t have a lot of flowery things to say right now and honestly, I’ve had so little sleep that my thoughts are barely cohesive. But, I just can’t get away from the following scriptures.

Somewhere out there, someone needs to be reminded that God thinks about you. While the world holds billions of people, God has the ability to think about each of one of us individually. And, His thoughts towards us are healthy, not skewed by man’s perceptions and opinions. They are pure, unadulterated, and full of love. He loves me, He loves you, and that love is unconditional. Everlasting. Free for the taking. God’s thoughts are full of good things, not evil. To Him, we are beautiful. Handsome. Intelligent and smart, able to do whatever we set our mind to do simply because He made us with the ability to achieve.

For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. (Isaiah 55:8-9, KJV)

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. (Jeremiah 29:11-13, KJV)

Many, O LORD my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered. (Psalms 40:5, KJV)

How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them! If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand: when I awake, I am still with thee. (Psalms 139:17-18, KJV)

Remember this. Your spiritual enemy does not love you, and his thoughts towards you are not pleasant and loving. He works to fill our minds with negativity of every kind. Avoid listening to him at all costs. Set aside those people – and things – that help to accelerate satan’s agenda in your life. Fill your life and mind with good and heavenly things. Let God cover you with His peace. Seek His presence, His love, His joy. Focus on what He can supply you through His Spirit.

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.(Philippians 4:6-9, KJV)

I realize that this post is far from deep – pretty basic, and not necessarily well-written. But, maybe it will speak to someone, somewhere…

God loves you. He always has, and He always will.

He thinks about you every second of every day. He always has, and He always will.

Man might fail you, but my friend, God will never fail you.
